Drill Doctor has been voted as the best new product by the Handyman Club of America. The Handyman Club of America has long been recognized as a discerning group of tool users and annually tests and reviews hundreds of tools.
The Handyman Club of America has long been recognized as a discerning group of tool users and annually tests and reviews hundreds of tools. As a part of this program Drill Doctor donated about 50 tools which were then distributed to selected members of the Handyman Club. Those same club members then put the sharpener through its paces and tested every feature of the tool. The Drill Doctor drill bit sharpener received reviews averaging over 8 out of 10, which can be tough to achieve. After completing this review process, the Drill Doctor was then chosen by the editors of Handy Magazine (the official club magazine) as one of the top new products for the year (1999). Of all the products singled out by the editors, Drill Doctor was voted as one of the 10 best. “There are literally thousands of new products introduced each year, to be chosen as one of the top 10 out of all the new entries to the market is very exciting” said Matthew Bernard, Director of Marketing for Drill Doctor. “We are excited that the tool has made the grade in the eyes of the Handyman Club, and know that anyone who uses drill bits will benefit from owning this tool.”
